Noel has had the opportunity the last couple of weeks to practice her driving, visit with family and friends, settle into her senior year and rest at home!
This has been her longest time in home since her first treatment.
Her battle has only just begun and costs are extravagant even with insurance.
Noel and her family are warriors and this battle needs to be their only concern at present. So please, continue prayers and financial support as you are able.
I will continue to update as I can.
God Bless

We have been here every week for the last 7 weeks due to emergencies and treatment..
This was her 3rd treatment cycle out of 16. The treatment she got yesterday and today consisted of the “red devil” which is the strongest chemo there is, along with 3 other types. Her blood work this morning showed her wbc dropping drastically already which she will get infusions at home for 10 days to help replenish them. Please pray these side effect stay at bay, they usually ramp up around 4-5 days after treatment. Our goal is to stay home till next treatment cycle which is the 17th for the 5 day treatment. This has been so hard on Noel and the rest of us trying to juggle life back home and to figure out what our new “temporary” norm is going to be.. 8 months seems like forever at this point but thank God it’s just temporary!! We are definitely looking forward to our time at home. Noel has an at home spa day planned for us 4 girls, heck the boys too if they wanna join! We have been able to enjoy nightly visits to the garden and got some sunshine today.. getting ready to check out of this place for now and head to the homestead!
Please continue to pray for Noel. Any financial help is appreciated.
God Bless
8-15-2024 UPDATE
Noel is currently home with family. Although she is excited to be home, her cancer journey is still rearing it's ugly head. But, she is a WARRIOR! She is so brave and has kept her sense of humor throughout. We LOVE this young WOMAN! God has her wrapped in his arms and will see her through this and she will have ONE POWERFUL TESTIMONY! Thank you all for the continued support through prayers and donations. Love, The Edwards Family
07/31/2024 Update: PET scan did show that the cancer has spread up into the shoulder, but praise God no where else. Noel goes in tomorrow for her chemo port, ovary removal for preservation and then her first round of Chemo. This treatment is the most extensive they use with one of the 6 chemos is called the red devil. She will get treatment 6 days one week, have a week break then go in for 1 day of treatment, have a week break and it will rotate for 8 months.. at the 3 month mark she will go in for surgery to have this removed, if they are unable to get everything she will do radiation. Please continue to pray for Noel because this is going to be very hard on her body, mentally and physically. We thank you for your continued support as we will be making biweekly trips to St.Louis to get Noel the treatment she needs. Thank you to all that have prayed for Noel and our family. Thank you to those who have donated so that we can concentrate on caring for our baby girl. Continued support is appreciated. Thank you so much for the outpouring of love and support for our family during this storm. God has his arms wrapped around Noel and will guide the doctors and our family. God bless!
My name is Donna Corkle. I am raising funds for Noel Edward's and expenses for her medical care.
Here is her story.
After many visits to the doctor since January, Noel was taken back to the emergency room on July 20th to be told she had a broken arm and this was due to a lesion on her bone on her left shoulder. The doctors at Joplin Mercy spent almost 7 hours on the phone reaching out to numerous different hospitals throughout the state and many in the 4-state area, unfortunately all declined to take Noel due to different reasons. Finally, the doctor told the family that he had one possible placement for Noel and this was at St. Louis Children’s Hospital (Barnes-Jewish).
While at the hospital in St Louis, the team performed a chest CT scan and found that the bone cancer had not spread to that part of the body, later a biopsy was performed. On Wednesday, July 24th, Noel was discharged to come back home, awaiting the results of the biopsy. On July 26th, the family received news that the biopsy results confirmed that the type of bone cancer is Ewing sarcoma, which causes an increased amount of pain and discomfort. The family and Noel are traveling back to St. Louis Children’s Hospital to continue treatment for Noel’s condition.
The family is requesting prayers and assistance to help with traveling expenses, lodging expenses, and other expenses related to caring for and being with Noel. We know that God has his hands wrapped around our baby girl.
