Hi everyone,

I recently rescued Nobu, a sweet and loving French bulldog who has already endured so much in life. When I brought him home, he was struggling with severe medical issues that required immediate and extensive care. His journey to recovery has been challenging, but Nobu’s resilience inspires me every day.

So far, Nobu has undergone these major surgeries:

1. Brachycephalic Obstructive Airway Syndrome (BOAS) surgery – A critical procedure to improve his breathing by widening his nostrils (nares resection) and shortening / removing tissue from the soft palate (palatoplasty) to allow airflow.

2. Cherry eye surgery – To correct a prolapsed gland in his third eyelid, helping to protect his eyes and prevent discomfort.

Recovery has been far from straightforward. He was transferred from primary facility to an emergency facility then to a specialist facility. Nobu is suffering from extreme inflammation and is currently on a filtration system that helps him breathe because he is not able to do it on his own.

He is currently in critical condition, medical team is saying that this is a severe case.

Complications required Nobu to receive ventilation treatment, costing approximately $16,000-$20,000 per each 24 hours, adding significant financial strain. Nobu still needs follow-up care, thereapy, and medications to ensure he can heal fully and live a comfortable life.

He may require 2-5 days with the ventilatior system (costing 16-20K per night) for full recovery. He has already spent one night under ventilation system. Also, possibly may require tracheostomy surgery-a procedure that creates a permanent opening in a dog's trachea to help them breathe.

I’m asking for your help to cover Nobu’s mounting medical expenses, including:

* His life-saving surgeries and hospital stays.

* Ventilation treatments and recovery care.

* Follow-up therapy, medications, and ongoing medical needs.

This journey has been emotionally and financially overwhelming, but I’m committed to giving Nobu the life he deserves. Any contribution, no matter how small, would mean the world to us. If donating isn’t possible, sharing Nobu’s story would also make a big difference.
