My name is Lisa Sylvia, and my son Noah has been given an incredible opportunity to serve in Tanzania this fall. Alongside a small team from our church, he’ll partner with Joy of Family Ministries and George and Sayuni Mngodo to encourage families, help with practical needs, and share the hope of Christ in Arusha and surrounding villages.

This trip is part of our church’s ongoing relationship with Joy of Family — a ministry dedicated to strengthening families, supporting pastors, and empowering local communities through faith, education, and service. The team will be involved in hands-on outreach in and around the city of Arusha and several rural Maasai tribes; they will assist with marriage and ministry training conferences, and they will visit homes to pray with and serve families.

To make this trip possible, Noah is raising funds to cover travel, lodging, and ministry expenses — about $3,500 total. Every dollar given goes directly toward helping him serve in Tanzania and be part of what God is doing there. Funds raised in excess of Noah’s travel expenses will be donated to Joy of Family ministry in Tanzania.
