Hello Everyone,
My name is Gabrielle and our family is reaching out on behalf of my brother, Noah Miller age 25, who is currently in the midst of a challenging health battle. Noah is in the process of receiving a diagnosis that is still uncertain, but it's believed to be either Neuromyelitis Optica (NMO) or Multiple Sclerosis (MS). These conditions are both autoimmune diseases affecting the nervous system, leading to various symptoms that greatly impact one's quality of life.
Noah's journey with this illness has just begun, and the financial burden has already become overwhelming. Medical expenses have quickly exceeded tens of thousands of dollars, and Noah is unable to work due to the debilitating effects of the disease. This has put immense strain on him and his fiancé, as well as our entire family.
We are reaching out to our community and beyond for support during this challenging time. We are seeking assistance with monthly expenses for necessities such as housing payments, fixed bills, and food. These basic needs have become a significant challenge as Noah focuses on his health and the ongoing diagnostic process.
Currently, Noah's left limbs and torso are numb, with a loss of muscle control in his left hand—particularly difficult as he is left-handed. The first MRI that has been done showed lesions in the brain and on the cervical spine, providing evidence of a demyelinating disease. The uncertainty of his condition weighs heavily on us all, but we are trying to remain optimistic in spirits.
The next steps in Noah's journey involve another MRI scheduled for the beginning of April, followed by a likely lumbar puncture. We are hopeful that these tests will provide clarity and guidance for his treatment plan.
We kindly ask for your support, whether it's through a donation or by sharing Noah's story with your networks. Every contribution, no matter how small, will make a meaningful difference in Noah's life as he navigates through this difficult time. Your generosity will help alleviate the financial stress and allow Noah to focus on his health and well-being.
Please keep Noah, his fiancé Taylor, and our family in your thoughts and prayers. We will provide regular updates on Noah's progress through this GoFundMe page, and we appreciate your continued support and encouragement.
Thank you for being a part of Noah's journey and for standing with us during this challenging time.
With gratitude,
Our Family
