I am reaching out today to ask for your help and support for my eight-year-old nephew Noah who was recently diagnosed with Evans syndrome. This rare autoimmune disorder causes his immune system to attack his red blood cells and platelets, resulting in severe anemia and bleeding issues. The disorder has a high fatality rate if not treated appropriately. As you can imagine, this diagnosis has been devastating for our family! Noah's parents and doctors have been fighting tirelessly with the insurance company to approve the very expensive treatment that Noah urgently needs. Even if approved, there are still mounting medical expenses and the inevitable time away from work that comes with his treatment.
