Support Noah-Michael's Road to Recovery
Donation protected
Hello! My name is Danielle! I am humbly asking for any and all help for a childhood friend of mine and her precious son Noah-Michael J. Martin.
Noah was involved in a tragic motor vehicle accident on October 19, 2024. His 17-year-old cousin was also involved.
Noah is faced with numerous injuries as a result, including a splenectomy (due to internal bleeding), fractured ribs, a collapsed lung, broken shoulder blades, a right hip fracture, a right ankle fracture, and an L4 vertebra fracture. He did have a brain bleed that thankfully has not progressed further. Noah also has a broken nose along with many facial lacerations and two broken teeth. He will undergo another surgery on October 29, 2024, to address his ankle and shoulder blade fractures.
As of now, Noah has great motor skills that have been improving, which leads his team of doctors to be extremely hopeful and positive. Noah’s mother, Nikie, hasn’t left his side. Unfortunately, Nikie’s place of employment only allows one bereavement day, which she has already used. Being there with Noah as a single parent is Nikie’s number one priority. But, the bills will continue to come. Nikie and Noah have a very small family and many friends who are supporting them with all their love, but they are in need of financial support.
Noah is a very loving and respectful 14-year-old young man. He loves sports and fitness. He plays JV football for Mechanicsville High School. He also wears his heart on his sleeve just like his mother! With the great strength within Noah and God’s healing and the love he has for him, he is getting through this. It will be a long, slow recovery with many surgeries, physical therapy, and emotionally trying times.
We would be eternally grateful for any support given!
