Support Noah Oakes' Advocacy for Tourette Syndrome

Donation protected
Hi! My name is Noah Oakes, and I volunteer as the Montana State Ambassador for the Tourette Association of America. As an ambassador for the TAA, I meet with Montana's legislature in Washington, DC every March on Advocacy Day. In my meetings, I share my personal experiences with Tourette Syndrome and the healthcare system, as well as the congressional asks of the TAA for bills and funding that support not only people with Tourette's, but also assist in continued and consistent funding for the CDC and NIH.

I feel that what I'm doing is incredibly important and I want to do whatever I can to continue advocating for me, my community, as well as all people in the United States with Tourette Syndrome. Unfortunately, as a college student, I do not have the excess funds to cover the expenses of travel. I've been given an opportunity to make a difference in not only my life, but also in the lives of so many others, and I can't stand the idea of squandering that. I appreciate any help you can give.

Funds will be used to pay for:
Travel:
  • Plane tickets
  • Transportation to meeting locations in Washington DC
Event Expenses:
  • Advocacy Day ticket
  • Hotel room
