Support Noah Chapman's Road to Recovery
Donation protected
On the early morning of August 11th, our son and brother, Noah Chapman, was involved in a tragic car accident resulting in traumas to his head and back, broken bones and internal injuries. After being extricated from the vehicle, he was taken to OSF St. Francis Medical Center in life threatening condition. Several hours went past as our family pain-stakingly thought Noah would not make it. After a procedure and surgery, phenomenal care by staff, and the grace of God, Noah was stabilized. Since then, Noah has been extubated and is making good progress. While we do not yet know the future of his mobility and healing, we have realized that Noah will be in the hospital longer than just a few days or weeks and will likely need intensive physical therapy to recover and regain mobility.
He remains on our dad’s health insurance, but one can assume, his hospital bills and the cost of lost wages over his extensive hospital stay and recovery time will be overwhelming. To help ease the financial burden and to better focus on rehabilitation, please consider donating to this GoFundMe page where all monies will be used for Noah’s return to health and cost of living that goes on while he is in the hospital. His family appreciates your support.
Update 2/13/25: Noah has completed rehab and has been home for a few months now. If you haven’t done so, please catch up with him. He graduated OT and is working hard a few times per week at PT. His recovery is a marathon, not a sprint. He remains paralyzed, but that doesn’t stop him. He is thankful for so many people reaching out. His biggest needs right now is finding a wheelchair that is more adaptable and gives him more independence. Other needs include items that insurance doesn’t cover. He is so brave. So strong. And we are thankful everyday he is here with us.
