Class of 2026 SCCS senior, Noah Shotwell, has finished a perfect powerlifting season and earned the title of national champion. Noah also holds the title of Louisiana East Regional Champ and Louisiana Division IV State Champ. He has set four local records at the St Amant Invitational, including the 242lb weight class deadlift, 275lb weight class squat record, 275lb weight class deadlift, and the total record. Noah has cemented himself as the most dominant powerlifter in SCCS history, holding the SCCS overall, squat, deadlift, and totals records.

Noah has been invited to participate in the Powerlifting America National Sub-Junior Team to compete in the IPF Sub-Junior World Championship as a men's 120kg equipped lifter. The event will be held in Sun City, South Africa. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for Noah to represent his school and country on the world stage. He describes the opportunity as a 'dream come true.'

In his early life, Noah spent years in pediatric physical and occupational therapy for low muscle tone, poor core strength, and fine motor delays. Through dedication and hard work, he has overcome these challenges and continues to show the world what he can accomplish. The funds raised will cover travel costs, fees, lodging, and food for Noah and his coach, making it possible for them to attend this prestigious event. Your support will help Noah and his coach reach South Africa and make their community proud.
