Hi everyone, my name is Cypress, and I’m reaching out for help to launch No Masters Tattoo & Piercing.

Back in June, I was working in a shop called Be True Tattoo and we suffered a devastating blow when a car crashed through the front of our building, injuring our counter staff and displacing our entire team.

We were forced to temporarily relocate and work out of a sister shop while we rebuilt.

Unfortunately, just as we were finding our footing again, serious allegations were made against the shop’s previous owner.

When the news broke, every member of our talented team chose to walk away, unwilling to be part of an environment that didn’t reflect our values of safety, respect, and integrity.

I couldn’t let that be the end of our story.

This team, and this craft, mean everything to me. I made the decision to purchase the business and to rebrand as No Masters Tattoo & Piercing and have a new beginning under honest and ethical leadership.

I’m currently living off my savings to keep things moving forward, but I still need help covering start-up costs, rebuilding expenses, and old debts that came with the business.

Every dollar raised will go directly toward:

Rebuilding and furnishing the shop space

Covering licensing and insurance fees

Paying down remaining debts from before the ownership change

Supporting the talented artists and piercers who make our community what it is.

We’ve been through so much, but we’re determined to create a safe, inclusive, and inspiring space for both artists and clients.

A place where creativity and community thrive.
