Support June 14 No Kings Event, Hanafan Park, Council Bluffs

On June 14—Flag Day—Donald Trump wants tanks in the street and a made-for-TV display of dominance for his birthday. A spectacle meant to look like strength. But real power isn’t staged in Washington. It rises up everywhere else. No Kings! is a nationwide day of defiance.

Local 50501, Indivisible, and allied groups are hosting No Kings! from 10a to 2p at Tom Hanafan River's Edge Park in Council Bluffs. I serve as a representative for IndivisibleNE on the No Kings! Planning Committee, and my role is to seek funds to help pay for event expenses (e.g., venue rental, equipment rental, insurance, port-a-potties, printing).

Groups sponsoring the event have contributed what they can; however, it does not cover it entirely. Donations, big or small, are greatly appreciated.
