Dear Family and Friends,

It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Daughter, Sister, Mother, Auntie, and Friend, Nivella Okot. Nivella left us unexpectedly on July 10th, 2024, leaving behind her loving friends and family.

Nivella brought a light to this world that could not be extinguished. She gave love freely to everyone she encountered and did it with a joy that could not be matched. Nivella had a contagious laugh and smile that would brighten up any room. She was a person that radiated positivity everywhere she went. She has touched so many lives from her family, friends, coworkers, and patients. Her presence will be missed by all who have come to know and love her.

As we navigate through this incredibly difficult time, we are faced with the unexpected burden of funeral and memorial expenses. We want to give Nivella the farewell she deserves, but we cannot do it alone. We ask the community to come together in this time of grieving to assist with laying our loved one to rest. Any contribution, no matter how small, will help us cover the costs of Nivella’s funeral, memorial, and other related expenses. Your generosity and support during this heartbreaking time will mean the world to us.
