We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit team of enthusiastic NIU students dedicated to achieving our goals and developing the skills required of future engineers and industry professionals. Our mission is to design, construct, and compete with a Formula SAE vehicle that not only meets all SAE technical and safety specifications, but also challenges us to think critically, collaborate effectively, and continuously improve.

As a fully student-run organization, our members are responsible for every aspect of the program, including engineering design, manufacturing, testing, project management, and competition execution. Through this hands-on experience, we apply classroom knowledge to real-world problems, gain exposure to industry-standard tools and processes, and develop leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Beyond competition, Huskie Motorsports is committed to fostering a culture of learning, innovation, and professionalism. We aim to push ourselves beyond our comfort zones, embrace technical challenges, and prepare our members to excel in engineering and related fields after graduation.
