We are Nitro Racing, the Canadian National Champions in the STEM Racing (F1 in Schools) competition. What started as a group of high school students with a shared dream has turned into a nationally recognized team preparing to represent Canada on the world stage.
We are students from SATEC @ W.A. Porter Collegiate, a STEM-focused public high school in Toronto. After months of late nights, engineering, designing, and problem-solving, we earned the opportunity to compete at the World Finals, but we need your help to get there.
The cost of representing Canada internationally is nearly $80,000, which includes travel, registration, equipment, and logistics. As students, we’ve self-funded, secured in-kind donations, and worked incredibly hard to get this far. But now, we’re facing a financial barrier that we cannot overcome alone.
This is more than a competition. It’s a chance to show what Canadian youth can achieve in STEM. It’s about proving that hard work, innovation, and resilience can take you from a classroom to the global stage. With your support, we can finish what we started and inspire the next generation of youth in STEM.
We’re asking for your help. Every donation, no matter the size, brings us one step closer to making our dream a reality. Your support will directly fund our journey and make you part of our story.
Please consider donating and sharing our campaign. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to us at [email redacted] or visit nitroracing.com to learn more.
Thank you for believing in us. Let’s show the world what Canadian students can do.
