Nita and I have been best friends for over 40 years, and I’ve seen her strength and kindness through every season of life. Right now, she’s facing one of the hardest challenges yet. Her husband recently suffered a massive stroke, which has left him unable to work. With only one income, Nita’s family is struggling to keep up with the bills. They are now facing foreclosure and, heartbreakingly, are currently without electricity and heat.

I’m starting this fundraiser because I know how much Nita has always given to others, and now she needs our help. The funds raised will go directly toward helping her keep her home, pay overdue bills, and cover daily essentials like food and utilities. Every donation, no matter the size, will make a real difference in helping Nita and her family get back on their feet.
