Help Me Evade Homelessness & Repair My Smile After Police Violence

Hi everyone,

I’m reaching out because I need your help to get to safety - and to heal.

I face imminent homelessness December 3, 2025. In 2024, I was violently assaulted during a protest by police in Utah, a place where conservative politics have made life not just difficult, but dangerous for people like me. During the assault, some of my teeth were broken. The physical pain was excruciating, but the emotional toll of living in a place where state violence goes unchecked is just as devastating.

I’m trying to relocate to a safer, more supportive environment after moving to Oakland for work and what I thought would be a safe living situation. I am not safe where I am at. I would like to find a room in Oakland where I can begin to rebuild my life. But moving into a place isn’t cheap, and neither is dental care. I’m asking for your help covering:

Moving expenses (truck rental, deposit, gas, etc.)

Emergency dental surgery (replacing or repairing broken teeth)

Temporary housing and survival costs during this critical transition

I’m not just moving - I’m escaping. This isn’t about “starting over” for fun. This is about survival.
