My name is Terra and I'm hoping to help our incredible friend in a time of need. See below why I'm fundraising for our loved one, Nina.
Nina is a wonderful single mother of two beautiful children. Three years ago, Nina returned to her career as a flight attendant. She started in 2010 and took some time off to raise her children. Nina is a compassionate and selfless individual known for her warmth and generosity. She has always gone above and beyond for those around her.
Unfortunately, Nina's life has taken a turn.
About two months ago, Nina noticed a lump under her skin. A month later, at a routine appointment, she mentioned it to her doctor. She was quickly scheduled for further testing, and her fear became reality. Nina's results came back, and it was Triple Negative Invasive Ductal Carcinoma. In other words, a very aggressive and relatively rare breast cancer diagnosis. The past few weeks, Nina has felt all sorts of emotions: fear, anxiety, and also a lot of gratitude that she has been blessed with family and friends who love and support her through her journey.
Nina's treatment will require a lot to fight this illness and will leave her unable to work, creating emotional and financial hardships during an already difficult time.
As most of us know, insurance will not cover all her medical bills and other financial burdens of day-to-day life being a single mother of two beautiful children. I've started this fundraising journey to help Nina focus on what truly matters the most: her health and her family.
Thank you for taking the time to read my story. We would be forever grateful for your kindness and generosity, no matter the size.
Sending lots of love and hope,
Terra
