Nina was a wise and truly loving mother, sister, and friend. She touched the lives of everyone she met, and people often said her inner beauty was visible just by being around her and talking with her. Her kindness and wisdom left a lasting impression on so many.

Recently, Nina underwent open heart surgery, which initially went well. However, just a week later, she began experiencing blood clotting and was admitted back to Hershey Medical Center. The doctors fought on all fronts to save her life, from removing fluids around her heart to draining blood that was going into her brain. This was completely unexpected, as the surgery had seemed successful. Sadly, it appears her body had an adverse reaction to a medicine commonly used in this type of surgery, and from there, everything went downhill. She was kept on partial life support until her son could arrive from Seattle. After a long day of monitoring, the difficult decision was made to remove life support, and within minutes, Nina passed away peacefully.

This loss has come so suddenly for her three children, who never expected to say goodbye to their mother at just 62 years old. The family is now facing unexpected funeral expenses and other costs related to her passing.
