My name is Nina. I am a stage 4 terminal triple-negative breast cancer patient, more importantly, I’m a mom; yes, a terminal single mom. I’m in year 4 of treatment since being diagnosed as stage 4. I’ve been battling on and off for a little over 8 years. (A long, long time.) I can no longer work, and I miss it so much. The apartment my daughter and I live in has raised the cost of rent roughly $500 in the last two years. We’ve lived here about 9 years and hate to say I’m being priced out of here. I have found a home I can purchase for the two of us where my mortgage would be so much more affordable. We just need help with the down payment.

I’m buying a manufactured home; it’s so much more affordable and it gives my daughter the security of having her own home, especially in a life that has been so uncertain for most of her 13 years of life.

I started off this year dying of a heart attack. My organs started shutting down, I was intubated and woke up 2 days later. Once that happened, I realized I need to remove some stress from my life and make memories with my little one. She says she doesn’t remember a time I didn’t have cancer. I want to maximize my chances and be able to make memories with her. I know you don’t necessarily need money, but being able to sleep in a home with food in the fridge and your mom healthier due to less stress matters!

I have around half the deposit saved and I could really use your help with the rest before I lose this opportunity. Time's urgent and there’s not much of it left to sign on the dotted line and secure a home for us. I appreciate all of your help; it means more than you could possibly imagine to us. Thank you
