Sweet Nina has been having a rough time for the last several months with constipation and GI issues. After seeing her regular vets and several rounds of conservative treatment and diagnostics she was not getting better. Over the last month she has been under the care or the absolute best specialty vets in the area at VSP- Veterinary Specialty Partners in Middletown. Dr. Rizzo and Zimmer are tag teaming on her as I write this. What a dream team! The fact that they are still stumped at this point is also very concerning as she has been under their care for a few weeks. Did I mention Nina‘s mom is Angie who is my very dear friend and also a new board member to Tyson’s Chance. Angie gives and supports every day of her life and I don’t know a better human being. In fact, she doesn’t want me to launch this campaign because “everyone has a lot going on and life is hard”. (I listen well) After her visit tonight she will be over $5000 trying to help her sweet girl and is still just trying to figure out what’s wrong. She’s done the absolute best of everything and continues to do so but that amount of money can become a major inconvenience to anyone. Since she didn’t even want me to do this, my goal would be to help her with maybe half of the bills acquired so far to start. She has already been consulted about possible surgery if they can’t figure this out and that may be moving forward very soon to the tune of 3-5 thousand dollars. She’s going to do whatever she has to do for this girl so please give any dollar you can to help make this a little easier on Ang and Nina. ❤️
