Hello family and friends, it brings me great sadness to ask for your help in this time of need. My sister, Nilda, was struck as a pedestrian by a distracted driver, which led her to be admitted to the ICU due to a traumatic brain injury. This required her to have a craniotomy, and with that, a long road to recovery to regain her everyday mobility, speech, and cognitive function. She will be out of work with minimal economic support, as my family and I do our best to cover and care for her. We would greatly appreciate any support.
