Our dearest mother, Nila Belen, a 72-year-old Filipina, has always been a shining light in our lives. A loving mom, a doting grandmother, and a selfless friend to so many, she has spent her life giving to others—never once asking for anything in return. Now, she’s fighting the toughest battle of her life, and we are humbly reaching out to ask for your help.

She has been diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic breast cancer, which has aggressively spread to her lungs, brain, abdomen, and her left breast. Due to complications with her heart, chemotherapy is not an option—leaving us with limited and costly alternatives to ease her pain and prolong her time with us.

Despite the pain, she still manages a smile when her grandchildren walk into the room. She still finds the strength to ask how we’re doing, even as her body weakens. That’s who she is—someone who puts others first, always.

She dedicated her life to raising her children and helping anyone in need, even when she had little to give. Now, she needs us, and we need you.

We are seeking to raise $54,000 to cover urgent and ongoing medical expenses: specialized treatment, medications, palliative care, and supportive therapies that give her a chance at more time with her loved ones.
