My name is Gail Dreifus and I am a long time friend of Nikyra Calcagno. Nik has recently been diagnosed with breast cancer. With surgery, her prognosis is good, but as many of us know, this recovery is expensive. If you know Nik, you know that asking for help is difficult for her. Her bills are already adding up, and during part of this recovery, she is not able to work. This has put severe stress on her finances and mental state. She is spending hours with her insurance company, and they've not been helpful at all, adding even more stress to her situation. Nikyra is someone who for years has given back to community with an open heart and mind. This is an opportunity for her friends and community to give something back to her.
