Hey Gang! I’m Terrence…Orr Niko, or Suavé..you pick. Some may know me and some may not, but all can help. I am currently on my exciting and extremely scary journey of becoming a Nurse ❤️.

The dream of becoming a nurse has always been the goal, yet the path to get there has always been a little blurry. For years I’ve heard the constant horror stories of the struggles in Nursing School, but never knew how real they were until they became my reality….but I LOVE IT. I was born to care for others and nurse them back to health. The feeling of knowing you made a difference, even if it was just a short period of time is so satisfying. The care a nurse renders in an individuals life could possibly be the impact of a life time, and it all starts with, “Hi, I’m Terrence, and I’ll be your nurse today.” The idea of being a behind the scenes hero is everything to me.

Being a 1st generation college student, I have always felt the need to be the example. I wanted to do everything on my own and never ask for help. I wanted to be the guy who had it all figure out. However life has its way of throwing curve balls…kinda like the one I’m dealing with now. Here’s where your help is needed…

Like all things in life, this dream of becoming a Nurse comes with a cost. In order to continue chasing my dream, I have to come up with the tuition cost for this semester to continue on to graduate. I was not fortunate enough to receive financial aid for schooling and resulting to having to pay out of pocket. It hasn’t been the easiest task of paying for schooling and attending in Booneville, all while living and working in Oxford. So far, I’ve managed fairly well, but as we get further into school, the less I am able to work and fund myself…which resulted in a hold on my education.

I’m asking any and everybody that can and will help me reach my goals in becoming a nursing caregiver to help patients your family and friends as well as mine. Help me become the person to nurse your loved ones back to health. Whether you donate a $100, $20, $0.50…every little bit will help.
