This is hard to even put this into words.

After 35 years of loving each other, building a life together, and raising a family, Niko and Jami were finally married in a private ceremony in their garden in the back yard of their home. It was an intimate wedding where they said their vows quietly, not knowing that a few short weeks later their world would be shaken by an extremely rare form of blood cancer - Plasma Cell Leukemia.

Niko is the kind of man you can truly always count on. If there's a family gathering, he's the first one there. If something needs fixing, he asks how he can help. He has spent his life working hard, building beautiful custom cabinetry with his hands, providing for his family and never asking for much in return.

He is a proud husband. A devoted father to his son and best friend, Michael. Niko is a steady, loving presence in our family. He loves to fish and be outdoors, he loves to travel (especially back to his roots in Greece), and he is a die hard Wisconsin sports fan.

Because Niko works for an extremely small company, if he cannot build, he cannot earn. The medical bills are already starting to come in. Treatments, medications, travel, and time away from work adds up quickly.

We are Niko's son, brothers, sisters, nieces, and nephews looking for support during a difficult time of his life. We are hoping to support Niko and his family in this time of need. The cost of hospital bills is extremely overwhelming, and we'd like lift this burden so Niko and his family can focus on the treatments he needs, and living their lives together.
