Early Saturday morning on 3/7/26 my daughter Nikki was involved in a devastating car accident with her husband, Brandon. By the grace of God, Brandon was able to walk away with only minor injuries. Nikki, however, suffered severe trauma in the crash and was flown by helicopter from Altoona to Pittsburgh for emergency medical care. Nikki sustained multiple serious fractures, including two breaks in her hip and a fractured tibial plateau in her knee. In just the past few days, she has already had multiple surgeries as doctors worked to repair the damage, and she is now home beginning her long road to recovery filled with healing, rehabilitation, and time away from normal life. Nikki is a devoted wife and the mother of three children. She is also only a few months away from finishing nursing school, working tirelessly to build a future caring for others. Anyone who knows Nikki knows how strong, compassionate, and determined she is. This accident has created an overwhelming physical, emotional, and financial burden for Nikki and her family. In addition to significant medical expenses, the accident also totaled her vehicle. We are asking for help to support Nikki and her family during this incredibly difficult time.
