Two days ago, my fiancé and I found out we were expecting. What should have been one of the happiest moments of our lives turned into something terrifying and heartbreaking overnight.

Yesterday, Nikki began experiencing sudden, severe abdominal pain. We rushed to the hospital, where she was diagnosed with a ruptured ectopic pregnancy - a life-threatening emergency. She was taken into surgery immediately.

We are incredibly grateful that Nikki is safe, but the emotional and physical toll has been overwhelming. To make things even harder, Nikki had just started a new job and was still waiting for her health insurance coverage to begin. This means we are now facing significant medical bills from the emergency surgery and hospital stay.
