To my dearest family and friends, I am saddened to say that my father is at the end of his life's journey. He has been on hospice for a few weeks now but this week, his body has finally shown that he has had enough. We do not expect him to be with us for more than a day or two longer. With that said, I can tell you that myself and my family, though extremely sad, are ready for my father to pass into the next life where he will no longer suffer and he can raise hell in heaven with his sister and beloved animals that have passed before him. My sister Nikki has been the absolute best sister and daughter a person can be. For years she has been taking care of our father along with our teenaged nephew all on her own. She now is facing the burden of paying for rent and a mortgage on two properties, along with end of life expenses on a single income. She would never ask on her own and would probably kick my ass for posting this without her permission. If you have it in your heart at all, any help toward our father's end of life care and expenses would be deeply valued and appreciated. We plan to have a direct cremation with a celebration of life once summer comes back around. Thank you all in advance for your love and support during this time.
