This fundraiser is in memory of Nikki Smith. Nikki passed away on July 10, 2025, after a very brief battle with cancer. Nikki was diagnosed with Squamish Cell Lung Cancer in April of this year (No, she did not smoke). So, it is a great mystery to the family as to how and why she developed this type of cancer. Nikki was the most incredibly kind and loving person I have ever met; I never met anyone who had anything bad to say about her, and that is a testament to the kind of human being she was. She will definitely be missed by everyone who was lucky enough to have known her. Nikki is survived by her son Jackson, who is 17 and about to start his senior year here in New Braunfels. Nikki unfortunately did not have any insurance, which is why I am trying to raise funds to assist her family in any way I can. My hope is to raise enough money to help pay for funeral costs, and the celebration of life. Whatever is left over will go to her son to hopefully make his last year in high school easier to deal with, at least that is my hope in starting this Fundraiser.
