Support Nikki and Sean in Memory of Grace

Please help us support Nikki and Sean as they navigate the loss of their daughter Grace.

In early March, the Marek family flew to Texas with the hopes that a new clinical trial would help them win the battle against her cancer. Instead, this past week they had to say goodbye to their precious girl. Anyone who is lucky enough to know this family will tell you just how very special they are and how heavy of a loss this is.

Gracey's sweetness, silliness and sparkly personality touched the lives of everyone she met. We consider ourselves so fortunate to call the Mareks friends and to have been witness to Grace's life. She enjoyed so many activities along with our children- cheerleading, dancing, softball, basketball and volleyball (which became her favorite sport). She had a soft spot for all animals and adored her own collection of pets. Her most happy place on earth was the beach, and numerous memory books can be filled with the many adventures she had trailer camping with her family and friends, as well as the notorious trailer slumber parties she hosted in her cul-de-sac. The close relationship she shared with her family is what all parents strive for.

Her brave and stoic fight against cancer defined her strength and continues to unite those who love her and her family.

Nikki and Sean fought beside Grace every step of the way. They spent countless hours researching, traveling and advocating for the very best care possible. They were willing to go to the ends of the earth to find the right treatment, and each and every time we spoke with them they never once were less than hopeful. Our wish is that through this fundraiser we can ease the financial stress that is the result of this fight, and help them honor Grace's life.
