Please consider helping your fellow classmate and friend, Nikita, who suffered a tragic accident the night of Monday, August 24. Nikita is in the Trauma/Neuro ICU fighting to make it to the next hour, connected to more machines than a 22-year-old should be. Having fallen from 5 stories, Nikita is suffering from a broken pelvis, many broken ribs, a broken hip, and multiple facial fractures. He also endured a very serious head injury during his fall, which has required him to get many invasive interventions.
At this point in his hospital stay we are still praying for answers. We were explained by Nikita’s medical team that if recovery is an option for him it will be long and difficult.
Nikita Loos is not just a friend and classmate. He is also a son, a younger brother, an older brother, a beloved uncle and so much more.
Nikita had just returned to the University of Illinois to start his Masters in Accounting for which he had earned a full ride academic scholarship. He had just completed a summer internship at EY and was ambitious and excited to see what the rest of the world had to offer.
Nikita is full of life and has the world’s biggest smile that is always accompanied by the most contagious laugh. His friends are his family and his family is everything.
At this time his family is enduring and living the worst nightmare possible. We ask that you consider helping them in their time of need.
Thank you,
Please keep Nikita and his family in your prayers, hearts and thoughts.
