Hello, my internet name is Nigmachangeling. I'm a married adult who is currently living with my parents. I was married recently in an arranged marriage, and due to specific circumstances, I have not been able to work for some time.

My wife and I need to leave our current home due to the fact my own religious parents are emotionally controlling and abusive, to the point it has severely damaged my ability to socialize and conduct myself in general society. I have wanted to leave before, but due to my being in New York, I have never been able to fully leave without some assurance I can live comfortably. With my marriage, however, there is a striking need to leave due to how much their pressure is attempting to fracture my relationship. I am fully expecting I will achieve a job within the next 2-3 months, but in the event that incidents escalate to an unlivable scale, I need to be prepared in the event I need to be away immediately. This is what this Fundraiser is for.

We are hoping for 7 thousand dollars, however, due to circumstances escalating since the fundraiser began, we are being forced out and now need to increase it. We are hoping for 15 thousand, which should be enough money to afford 4-5 months of rent and groceries in the event of an emergency, until I can get a job. Once I have that job, there will be no issues on my end. I want to protect myself, and I especially want to save my own wife from my parents' influence. I have struggled to think for myself due to their actions, and I don't want my parents to get their influence on my wife, someone I consider the best thing to have ever happened to me.

Please, any amount helps, but I wish to remain anonymous in the event someone in my family discovers this and will confront us. I do not want it to come to that. Thank you, and God bless.
