Hoy queremos compartir la historia de una mujer increíble que significa mucho para todos nosotros: Nidia. Durante años, Nidia ha sido una luz brillante en nuestra comunidad, aportando alegría y belleza a nuestras vidas de innumerables maneras. Ya sea a través de sus deliciosos tamales de elote, su talento para embellecer a otros o su contagioso espíritu en la pista de baile cuando suena una banda, Nidia ha conmovido nuestros corazones y enriquecido nuestras vidas.

Ella no es sólo una amiga para muchos; sino un pilar de fortaleza y amor. Siempre ha trabajado incansablemente, no sólo por sí misma, sino también por su familia y nuestra comunidad. Su generosidad y dedicación son evidentes en todo lo que hace, especialmente en su devoción inquebrantable por sus tres hijos pequeños. Su vida ha sido un camino de trabajo duro, determinación y compromiso hacia sus seres queridos.

En marzo de 2023, a Nidia le diagnosticaron leucemia, un diagnóstico que ha puesto su mundo al revés. No es sólo el sufrimiento físico y emocional que conlleva la lucha contra el cáncer, sino también la carga económica que ha supuesto para Nidia y su esposo. Su tratamiento le ha impedido trabajar desde marzo de 2023. Desde entonces, se ha sometido a numerosas sesiones de quimioterapia, radioterapia, transfusiones de sangre y varias intervenciones quirúrgicas. Durante todo este tiempo, Nidia ha pasado meses en el hospital, afrontando cada día con valentía y gracia.

Recientemente, Nidia fue hospitalizada para someterse a un trasplante, donde una vez más ha estado alejada de su familia durante casi tres meses. A pesar de estas dificultades, el espíritu de Nidia permanece firme, testimonio de su increíble fuerza y determinación. Su esposo y sus hijos han estado a su lado, ofreciéndole apoyo incondicional, pero la realidad es que la presión financiera también les está afectando.

Por eso hemos puesto en marcha esta campaña de GoFundMe, para apoyar a Nidia y a su hermosa familia en estos momentos de necesidad. Queremos ayudar a aliviar la carga financiera para que Nidia pueda concentrarse en su salud y en su familia, sin el estrés de preocuparse por los gastos. In March 2023, Nidia was diagnosed with leukemia, a diagnosis that has turned her world upside down. Since then, she has undergone numerous chemotherapy sessions, radiation treatments, blood transfusions, and several surgical procedures. Throughout this time, Nidia has spent months in the hospital, facing each day with courage and grace.

Most recently, Nidia was hospitalized to undergo a transplant, where once again she has been away from her family for almost three months now. Despite these hardships, Nidia's spirit remains unbroken, a testament to her incredible strength and determination. Her husband and her boys have been by her side, offering unconditional support, but the reality is that the financial strain is taking a toll on them too.

That is why we've set up this GoFundMe campaign, to support Nidia and her lovely family during this time of need. We want to help ease the financial burden so that Nidia can focus on her health and her family, without the added stress of worrying about daily expenses.
