My name is Nic, and I am 35 years old. In April 2019, I was diagnosed with stage 4 liver disease. Since then, life has been a series of challenges for me, my wife Alyssa, and our daughter. The disease has led to frequent hospitalizations and uncertainty, but we have tried to stay hopeful and strong for each other. Recently, I received the news that I have been approved for a liver transplant. This brings a new sense of hope for a better quality of life and fewer hospital stays, but it also comes with new hurdles to overcome.

While I am out of work recovering from the transplant, our family will need help covering insurance, bills, groceries, and other crucial living expenses.
