Hello, my name is Nicolle I'm a 29 year old single mother to a wonderful 5 year old boy named Ezra. In May I was diagnosed with small bowel adenocarcinoma staged between 2 and 3. I've lost almost 70lbs in 3 months due to my cancer. My nutrition levels are extremely low and it makes it difficult to have energy to work. I have been on a full liquid diet for over a month and now have a feeding tube to try to help slow down the weight loss. I am going on short term disability as my oncologist and I have agreed it is the best plan of action at this point for my body. I just recently started chemotherapy to try to shrink my tumor since as of right now surgery isn't an option without risking my life due to the size and location of the tumor. I set the goal on here way beyond what I would ever think I would receive, but I know these next few months are going to be extremely hard. I have had so much support around me with my family, but financially they can only help so much. If you are unable to donate I fully understand as I know everyone is falling into hard times.
