I am a friend of Catherine (Cathy) Garedakis. She passed away suddenly on April 1st.

Catherine's 17-year-old daughter, Nico, was the person she most adored in life. From the moment Nico was born, Catherine devoted all her love, time, energy, and hopes to her daughter's bright future.

Nico was her whole world. Nico has a long road ahead of her with the loss of both of her parents.

Catherine was generous, kind, hilarious, thoughtful, and exceptionally loyal to the people in her life. She was also deeply private. I feel her sense of privacy would be outweighed by her desire to help her daughter. It is in that spirit of help I ask for any contribution you could make to cover immediate expenses for Nico.
