My name is Jenn, and I’m reaching out on behalf of my sister, Nicole. In the early morning hours of Saturday, 3/21/26, Nicole was involved in a serious motor vehicle accident after working multiple midnight shifts as an LPN. She was admitted to SUNY Upstate in Syracuse, NY, with traumatic injuries: six breaks from her wrist to her elbow, a broken nose, a broken foot, a broken back, and a concussion. On Sunday, she endured an eight-hour emergency surgery where multiple plates and screws were placed in her arm. We are still assessing her options, and another surgery may be needed for her back. Nicole will be hospitalized for at least another week or two, with months of recovery and physical therapy ahead of her.

Nicole is a single mother and, due to a recent job change, did not have health insurance at the time of the accident. She is currently without income, and while we are working to address this, the financial burden is overwhelming. Any financial contributions you are able to make would be deeply appreciated. The power of prayer is amazing, and we are so thankful she is alive. Nicole is, and always has been, a fighter—anyone who knows her would agree. She isn’t great at asking for help, but as someone who helps others for a living, I hope we can come together to support her and lessen the financial burden, even if just a little.
