Hi, I'm Sam, a long-time friend of Nicole's. If you could just take a second to read her story and, if anything at all, just share, share, share! Nicole is a hardworking, dedicated mom and wife who has always committed her time to helping others as far back as I can remember. July 27th is when it all started. Numbness that wrapped around her back and side. The pain was mild at first. After her first urgent care visit, they guessed a pinched nerve. The meds didn't help, so she went back to UC, and they ended up sending her to the ER for testing. Everything came back okay, and they sent her home with muscle relaxers. A week later is when it got bad. Her entire torso was muscle spasms that would not stop and severe nerve pain along with entire numbness. She got to the point where she couldn't eat or keep anything down. Three ER visits, and nobody seemed to know what was truly going on. Six weeks later, she's still on meds for severe nerve pain, waiting for a pain management and neurosurgeon appointment. We are hopeful they will be able to help her. Between Dr. visits every week, three ER visits, PT twice a week, chiropractor 1-2 times, and now she is trying a special type of massage specifically for her pain. I am creating this GoFundMe to try and help with whatever Nicole may need as she is not able to work until she's better.
