Nicole is my younger sister as well as a devoted wife and mother to Stella, age 6, and Ethan, who is about to turn 8. She’s also a loving aunt to my three kids and moved from New York to North Carolina a few years ago to be closer to me and my family. We’re a small, tight-knit group, and Nicole has always been the one to bring us together with her warmth and positivity.

Recently, Nicole was diagnosed with a rare neuroendocrine tumor (NET) in her appendix. She’s already undergone surgery to remove the tumor, but because of its location, she will likely need a colon resection. Nicole is also facing a series of additional procedures, including many scans, additional surgeries and multiple specialist appointments. These next steps are critical to defining her treatment plan and ensuring the best possible outcome for her and her children.

Nicole has shown incredible strength throughout this ordeal, doing her best to stay positive for Stella and Ethan. Despite the emotional and physical toll, she continues to be a caring mother, sister, and aunt. However, the financial strain is growing. Nicole has exhausted her paid time off and is now facing lost income, mounting medical bills, and the possibility of travel for specialized treatment. Our family is rallying around her, but we need help to make sure Nicole can focus on her health and her kids without the added stress of financial uncertainty. Any support will go directly toward her medical expenses and helping her family through this challenging time.
