Support Nicole in Her Fight Against Melanoma

Donation protected
If you know Nicole, you know she is resilient, with a huge heart, a warm personality, and the kind of strength that inspires everyone around her.

Nicole is the oldest of her siblings, and she has two young children. She is known for her dedication to her family, friends, her career in supporting children with special needs and their families, and her love for life. She is the kindest, loving spirit. She gives her all every day to ensure her family and students are supported and loved. Her smile and laughter brighten everyone's day. She pours so much into others, and I hope that during the toughest time in her life, others will pour into her.

Nicole was diagnosed with stage 3 melanoma in 2020, with remission and a recurrence in 2024. After exhausting several treatment options locally, her care team has referred her to Johns Hopkins Sidney Kimmel Cancer Center in Baltimore, MD, one of the top cancer hospitals in the country.

Nicole will be making multiple trips to Baltimore for specialized treatment at Johns Hopkins over the next few months.

How You Can Help:
1. Pray that God lifts her spirits, heals her body, and blesses the hospital staff with knowledge and kindness.
2. You can help offset the burden of care through a donation, allowing her to focus on her recovery.
3. Share this page with your friends, family, and community.

How Your Donation Helps:
  • Four weeks of short-term housing near Johns Hopkins during treatment for her and a companion.
  • Adult caregiver to come for meal prep, house tidy, run errands, laundry, dishes, and comfort a few days a week to give family and friends a wellness break 3x/week ($3,600)
  • Housekeeper bi-weekly ($1,200)
  • Cover additional fees she will incur to assist with dog walking and hiring a sitter for her kids on some evenings, allowing her to focus on her recovery.

We are so profoundly grateful for your generosity, kindness, and support. Every prayer, dollar, share, or kind word will make a difference.

We will donate unused funds to the Melanoma Research Foundation (https://melanoma.org/how-to-help/give/).

Help us support Nicole and help her focus on healing, so she can return to the things she loves, such as hiking, community, her family, and students.
