Hi everyone,

I’m starting this fundraiser for someone very close to my heart — my best friend’s little sister Nicole who is also like a little sister to me. Nicole was recently diagnosed with chondrosarcoma, a rare form of bone cancer, on January 28th. She is only 24 years old and now facing one of the toughest battles of her life.

She has a major surgery scheduled soon and will be hospitalized for about 10 days, followed by a long and challenging recovery. During this time, her parents and family will be by her side every step of the way. Unfortunately, that means taking time off work, covering travel, and staying in a hotel near the hospital so they can support her through surgery and recovery.

As you can imagine, the emotional toll is already overwhelming and the financial stress shouldn’t have to be part of it too.

We’re raising funds to help cover:

• Lost wages while her parents take time off of work

• Hotel stays near the hospital

• Travel and food expenses

• Medical and recovery-related costs
