Support Nicole’s Family & Honor Her Memory

Hi, my name is Lindsay and I am Dustin’s older sister.

The morning of June 7th seemed like any normal day. Nicole‘s husband Dustin came home from his night shift at work. This was going to be one of the last days that he and Nicole had together before she was to fly back to Arizona for work. He wanted to surprise her with a nice breakfast out and a day of shopping or sightseeing. They were looking forward to spending a nice day together.

He went to wake up Nicole but she was unresponsive. He called 911. The emergency responders said there was nothing that they could do and that she was already gone. We are not sure what happened yet, but apparently Nicole died during the night while in bed at her home in Texas. We are awaiting the autopsy to help shed light on the unknown cause of Nicole’s death. She had just turned 45 years old on Sunday, June 2, 2024.

This was very unexpected and the family is in quite a bit of shock. There are many unplanned expenses coming up regarding end of life situations such as cremation costs & death certificates ($3200 minimum), and funds towards her Celebration of Life service including transportation to attend the service for Dustin, Aneesa, and Nicole’s mother-in-law, Karen ($2,000 minimum). The service will be planned for the morning of 7/20/2024 to be held at Faith Bible Church in Glendale, Arizona.

Just last week, Nicole, Dustin & Aneesa signed to lease their rental house for another year (Aug ‘24 - Jul ‘25). Dustin and Aneesa will also have to move this month as they cannot afford to remain in the rental home. They will likely need to rent a moving truck to move their belongings out of the rental house. The move will occur in mid July. This move also involves having to pay a fee of 85% of the monthly rent charge to break the newly signed lease agreement on their rental home as well as covering July’s rent ($3050). There are also expenses regarding their vehicles.

I wanted to set up this GoFundMe site so that all of us who love Nicole and her family can join together to help bless them by helping to take care of these expenses. Nicole was such a happy, loving, and joyful person. She looked out for those she loved around her.

What better way to honor Nicole than to support and love on the ones that she loved the most? I ask you to pray for this family in the days ahead as they work through their grief and mourn a wife and mother. One of the last things that they should have to worry about at this time is finances. I think that we can gather together to help support them in this way. Please consider donating. Any amount is helpful.

Nicole’s Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, July 20th at 10:30am. This service will be held at Faith Bible Church located at 17230 N 59th Ave. Glendale, AZ 85308.
