Hello, my name is Nicole Potter, and I’m reaching out to you because tragedy struck my family. We moved from Florida to Pennsylvania in search of services and support for our autistic son, but on August 10th, we lost our beloved emotional support dog, Dolce, in a fire at the Kensington Club Apartments in Lancaster. We lost everything we ever owned and we are in need of a place to live as soon as possible to cover my son’s needs. He starts school in one week and we have absolutely nothing. We are overwhelmed and lost, and our son is taking the worst part because he lost his safe place and his best friend at the same time.

We are processing everything and trying to find out what’s next. With the funds, we are going to be able to get my son’s supplements and medications, and pay for some out-of-pocket therapies that the insurance and state are not covering and to find us a place.
