Hello, my name is Lauren and I'm helping to raise funds for my good friend of over 10 years, Nicole.

Nicole is a former special education teacher whose life has been turned upside down by serious health challenges. She now struggles daily with tremors, chronic pain, fatigue, brain fog, and insomnia—making it impossible for her to continue working.

After countless doctor’s appointments, referrals, and thousands of dollars spent searching for answers, Nicole was officially diagnosed with Spondyloarthritis (Spondylosing Ankylosis) along with fibromyalgia. While finally having a diagnosis has brought some clarity, it has also opened the door to a new set of battles.

Doctors are still trying to find the right medications to improve Nicole’s quality of life. Unfortunately, the treatments she has tried so far have brought painful side effects—rashes, bruising, loss of appetite, sleeplessness, increased joint pain, blood loss, and worsening tremors—without bringing much relief.

Nicole has also been facing an uphill battle trying to get disability benefits approved. In the meantime, she has been forced to pay out of pocket for doctor visits, therapy, and medication, which has created a heavy financial burden.

This fundraiser is my way of helping Nicole through this incredibly difficult time. Every donation will go directly toward her ongoing medical bills, medications, doctor visits, and therapy sessions.
