Update 2 May: Nicole went with the angels on 29 April 2025 at 1:11am,  surrounded by her friends. She was only 42 years old. She loved hard and she fought hard. We’re updating this GFM in lieu of flowers, and all donations will be put into an account in Jaxson’s name. Thank you all for the immense support, love, and prayers. 

Hi, this is Jeanna, Christin, and Becky, and we’re fundraising on behalf of our best friend, Nicole Hampton.

On January 12, 2023, Nicole was diagnosed with level IV astrocytoma, a fast-growing and aggressive brain tumor… brain cancer - Glioblastoma to be specific. Over the last two years, Nicole has undergone numerous aggressive treatments in an attempt to shrink the tumor. Unfortunately, the latest scan shows that the tumor is growing at a rapid pace and things are not looking good. The doctors at MD Anderson are now recommending either a very aggressive chemo that would make Nicole extremely sick, or hospice. 

I’ve started this fundraiser to help alleviate some of the costs associated with treatment, traveling to countless doctor's appointments, and raising a young daughter, Jaxson. Nicole has been unable to work, and her husband was killed in a vehicle accident in 2023.

If you are lucky enough to know Nicole, you know that she is the kindest, strongest, and most independent woman there is! Nicole has been fighting so hard, and she is beyond deserving of help to take the financial burden off of her mind so she can focus on herself and her daughter, Jaxson. With Nicole’s permission, I'm undertaking this fundraising campaign and appealing to you to donate whatever you can - whether it be financial donations, helping her with tasks, helping us to share her story, or simply keeping her and Jaxson in your prayers. It's hard to feel so helpless during what is an incredibly scary time, which is why we wanted to start this fundraiser. Thank you, thank you, thank you to all her friends, near and far, her family and even strangers who have continued to support Nicole through this journey. It means so much.
