Support Nicole Wright's Metastatic Breast Cancer Journey

Hello all,

Thank you for stopping by and taking the time to read about my fundraiser! As you may know (or perhaps not), I’m continuing my battle with cancer. Recently, I began a more aggressive form of chemotherapy called Halaven, which comes with some challenging side effects that I’m beginning to experience and will need to navigate in the coming weeks and future (if this treatment continues to work...fingers crossed). One of the toughest parts of this treatment for me is going to be the loss of my hair. If I'm being honest, this is definitely going to affect my confidence and sense of self. In addition to that, I’m also seeking out holistic healing treatments—like acupuncture, massage, and supplements—that could help me manage symptoms, boost my energy, and improve my overall well-being as I continue treatment. However, these treatments and a good-quality wig are expensive, and unfortunately, I am unable to afford them all on my own right now.

Everyone has been asking how they can help me and that’s why I’ve set up this fundraiser: to raise funds for a wig that will help restore some of my confidence and feel more like myself, as well as to cover some of the costs of holistic treatments that will support my mind and body during this healing process.

Chemotherapy is incredibly tough not just physically, but emotionally, and having access to these options could make a huge difference in my quality of life. I know the road ahead may still be long, but with your help, I can focus on healing in a way that feels right for me.
