My sister, Nicole Renza, recently let two cats into her home, unbeknownst to her, they were Trojan cats. The first Trojan cat's name is Freddie, with many small surprises, and the other Trojan cat is named Delilah, with one mega surprise! Such is the story of how my sister, who thought she rescued two cats, ended up rescuing 7 and is now taking care of all the veterinary expenses.
My sister will be keeping Delilah along with her son, known as Megakitten. Freddie, the mother to the other 4 kittens known as Artemis (orange collar), Daedalus (yellow collar), Helios (blue collar), and Calliope (green collar), will be going up for adoption once the kittens are ready! So far, my sister has accrued quite the amount of veterinary bills, making sure these kittens are well taken care of along with all the normal necessities. The two black kittens were a worry for having swimmer syndrome, but they received a clean bill of health today, and the vets are no longer worried for them in this regard. Now it will be mostly the normal vaccinations and other veterinary visits to make sure they're good to go to their forever homes once they reach 10 weeks. They are currently 3 weeks (8/28/24).
Any and all support is greatly appreciated! My sister has handled this amazingly, even if it was a surprise, but I know this will help her going forward as she's the type of person to end up in this same predicament again given her nature and love of all animals.
These funds will be for all vet bills, and to further spay or neuter when it is safe to do so!
