Support Nicole Morell through Brain Surgery

Hello, my name is Kayleigh and I’m raising funds to support my bestie Nicole through her upcoming Brain Surgery!

Just 4 weeks after giving birth to her 4th beautiful boy Nicole started having symptoms of stroke and went to Fort Saskatchewan hospital, they did a CT scan but there was no evidence of a stroke and was told it was just migraines. 3 weeks later she had another episode with symptoms of a stroke and returned back to hospital, they did another CT which showed brain damage which was the result of a stroke, she was then transferred to the University of Alberta hospital where they ran more tests and she was diagnosed with a rare Brain Disease - Moyamoya which is a chronic, and progressive condition that narrows the carotid arteries reducing blood flow to the brain. The tests also showed evidence of multiple strokes which indicates the disease is progressing at a rapid rate and is affecting both sides of her brain. The right side has gone through too much damage to be treated at this time and the only treatment plan they have is Brain Surgery on the left side which they are looking to scheduling surgery for this week to prevent further damage. The surgeon hopes that her brain responds well and forms new pathways on its own for blood to travel to the right side of the brain.

This has all happened less than 2 weeks before Christmas and has left her partner Jack and her 4 boys Jackson, Freddie, Jace and Myles alone at home and in need of some serious support, with Jack unable to work during this time and both of their families being back home in Scotland some financial support would go a long way in helping!

Nicole wants nothing more than to travel home and be with her family through this extremely difficult and scary time however she is unable to fly. Your donation would help fund flights for family to travel to Canada to support Nicole and her family through this and pay for bills and food etc…
