My name is Kammie and I am continuing this fundraiser for my daughter, Nicole Miller for a prosthetic leg. She had her leg amputated a little over three months ago, which originated from blood clots in her leg. She is only 33 years old and has two little children, one with Autism and he is a hand full by himself. She is currently receiving outpatient physical therapy and wound care office visits two times a week to get prepped for a prosthetic leg. She has struggled without her leg and has fallen many times. Once Nicole is able to get her prosthetic leg, it will give her stability to walk on two feet and even drive a car again. She has not been able to drive since the amputation. Getting a prosthetic will also give her back the dignity and self-esteem that any individual deserves.

With everyone's donations thus so far, Nicole was able to get her DME that was needed for her transition from hospital, inpatient rehab and home. She has three different walkers, a wheelchair, and a shower chair. She has also used some of the money for other medical supplies, like latex gloves, bandages, antibacterial products for her wounds and gas money to get to and from her doctor's appointments. The primary goal now is to continue her GoFundMe campaign for her prosthetic leg, which will happen in the near future. She must heal properly before this will happen. Nicole is working very hard with her exercises, so she can get her prosthetic leg more sooner than later.
