Support Nicole Marie Rodriguez

Hello, my name is Glorimar. My cousin Nicole Marie Rodriguez is 25 years old lost the battle for her life last Friday August 30 2024.

If anyone knows Nicole, they know her boys are her world.

Christian (8) and Ayden (5) were supposed to start school that week. Nicole was so excited she had found a school that would take Ayden, who is autistic, non-verbal, sees multiple therapists and is still on diapers and baby food.

Nicole is a single mother who is the sole provider for her kids.

Nicole went into the hospital with some concerns in the past months of extreme migraines and as a result, on Wednesday, August 21, she was informed she had a tumor.

The location of the tumor was in a complicated area as it was starting to block spinal fluid. Nicole had a procedure on Friday, August 23to remove the tumor and from it, they would be able to tell whether it was cancerous or benign.

The results of the surgery were as expected, however, the next day, Saturday, August 24, Nicole had a severe stroke.

As a result, they operated on her again and since then, Nicole was on a ventilator and was tested neurologically for days. On Friday August 30 she was declared brain dead. 

As a result Nicole donated organs to save lives and had a hero walk this past Saturday August 31st 2024.

With this situation, my Aunt Heidi was and has been by her side, driving back and forth between Allentown and Philadelphia, having to take time off to be there for Nicole and Nicole’s siblings have been rotating care with her children. My aunt Heidi now has taken all the financial responsibilities for Nicole and the boys.

There was and is still to come a lot of commuting, medical bills, the boys' care, and needs.
